Resistance welding is used in the sheet metal fabrication industry for welding and joining applications. Sunshine manufactures the widely used consumables of spot welding cap tips, various electrodes, seam welding wheels and spare / machined parts like shanks, adaptors, holders and gun arms used for resistance welding.
Steel Industry
Company has planned to go with mold tubes and mold plates made out of both silver bearing copper and copper chromezirconium under athma nirbhar bharat initiative. The main strength of the company is its technology supported by high skilled process controls in foundry forging and
extrusion including various heat treatments to achieve required chemical, physical, mechanical and electrical properties. By utilizing this strong strength of the company, it is planned to develop stage-wise in the year 2023- 24.
1) Narrow plates without plating.
2) Narrow plates with plating
3) Mold tubes ranging from 100-200 mm both round and square.
4) Broader plates and mold tubes of higher sizes in the fourth stage.
It is decided to outsource/ in-house chromium plating for all copper tube products.
